Most capital budgeting processes are set up to vet projects (in other words, they’re aimed at the second question, not the first). DCA advised the management of a Swiss multinational corporation on the creation of a healthcare and life science strategic business unit. We subsequently identified suitable acquisition targets consistent with the company’s strategy and successfully executed the first acquisition.
